Naomi is a strong believer of inclusivity and equality of opportunities for everyone. She has worked in Peace building and conflict resolution for more than 10 years at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission. She has participated in many social researches looking at areas of discrimination and marginalization to improve inclusivity, thus enhance social cohesion for unity and harmonious co-existence in Kenya. Naomi has facilitated many dialogues and training in conflict torn communities in Kenya, especially in the Mt. Elgon area where communities signed an agreement holding them accountable to-date and fostering peaceful co-existence.
Naomi has worked in the Public Service for over 30 years and gained a lot of experience in peace and conflict/dispute resolution working with experts in the field both locally and internationally. She holds a BA in Business Administration and Management and pursuing an MA, Development Studies. Naomi is a Certified Mediator with Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO, Washington DC) and she is in-charge of the East Africa Region. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and a Court Annexed Mediator in Kenya. She is a global citizenship member and is undertaking a Transformation Learning Journey, “Transforming root causes for Global Crisis.”
