CVPP also build’s capacities through a Peace and Pluralism approach, equipping women to contribute in decision-making roles. We offer highly effective consulting services to advance global peace and security.

What we do

Community Voices for Peace and Pluralism provides top-notch research, capacity building, and facilitation services to communities, NGOs, government agencies, Regional Economic Communities (REC’s), the African Union and multilateral organizations seeking positive outcomes toward peace and security. With expertise in gender and inclusive pluralistic processes, we support participatory and locally-driven programs that contribute to sustainable peace worldwide.

Recognizing that the failure to respect and co-exist peacefully with ethnic, religious, regional and other forms of diversity is at the root of many violent conflicts today, members of Community Voices for Peace and Pluralism offer professional services in international conflict analysis, gender analysis and capacity building, conflict prevention, peacebuilding, post conflict reconstruction, mediation of armed conflict, dialogue facilitation, drafting peace agreements, confidential coaching for parties negotiating to end violent conflict, policy research and analysis and monitoring and evaluation.

These services are provided while building the capacity for women and other groups to contribute to leadership and peace processes in decision making roles based on a positive response to diversity using a pluralism approach. A pluralism approach—led by African women, offers a new opportunity for conflict prevention, transformation and solution whereby attention to diversity and group-based differences is taken into account in the analysis and resolution of conflicts.
